We are pleased to announce that Jim Kay has been commissioned to fully illustrate the entire Harry Potter series. A mouth watering and career defining opportunity as well as a mammoth task!
The first in the series, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, will be published in September 2015 with subsequent titles released on an annual basis thereafter. Color illustrations throughout!
Jim, who won the Kate Greenaway award for A Monster Calls in 2012 has been featured in two articles published by the Guardian.
The initial article can be seen here and an insightful Q&A can be read here.
The deal with Bloomsbury UK was negotiated by our colleague Alison Eldred in London.
We will keep you up to date with new Potter images as they are released.
