Jonny Duddle's PIRATES for Aardman

For the last three years Jonny Duddle been working with Aardman Features on a new stop-motion movie about pirates, based on the hilarious series of books (honestly, they're brilliant) by Gideon Defoe. This has taken up a big chunk of Jonny's life since early 2008, and he's designed a load of characters for the film. It's been a great experience and he's loved every minute.

Chris Gibbs - new covers

Christopher Gibbs has recently illustrated these

covers for L.J. Smith’s The Night of the Solstice

and Heart of Valour ( The Vampire Diaries).

Chris manipulates digital imagery to create
multi-layered pictures, using photography
and graphic symbols with rich textures,
which perfectly suited the brief from the
publisher.Simon & Schuster commissioned
him to complete the first cover with only seven
days from brief to final artwork.

Luis Royo - DEAD MOON Epilogue

Luis Royo returns this spring with an epilogue to his 2009 illustrated story Dead Moon. The title will be published in five languages and will include a dvd featuring studio interviews with the artist discussing his work and the world he created for Dead Moon. Jonny Duddle at Bounce into Books Festival

Jonny Duddle was invited to be part of this year’s Bounce into Books festival based in Yorkshire and Humberside.

He visited Lindley Library to talk about his new book The Pirate Cruncher published by Templar and was very impressed by the enthusiastic group of children from Lindley Junior School, who did some excellent drawings as part of his workshop.
